All the Pretty Flowers

My nutty neighbor has been on her crazy rampage. She has been parking her Scion sideways, on a perfect 45 degree angle and taking up one and a half parking space (of which the half was mine!). But sometimes it's good to have an oddball as a neighbor. One day she came up cradling a huge bag of apples in her arms. "We went to an apple farm and we got lots of apples, so I'm giving you some!" I just stood there at my doorway. "Are they good?" I asked dumbly. "Of course they are!" she snapped, "If they aren't, I wouldn't give them to you!"

One other day she came up with a bouquet of roses. The first thought that came into my mind was, "Is she hitting on me??" I was already feeling flattered when she said my apartment looked too plain and the flowers were definitely going to make it "more beautiful".

Well this time, she came up with coupons to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. "It's $2 off and you can get free Starbucks coffee! And they have this green house with all kinds of flowers! It's really pretty out there, you can go with your boyfriend!"

First of all, what kind of man would want to go to a greenhouse to look at a bunch of "pretty flowers"? Secondly, what "boyfriend"???
