Spring Cleaning Part I

I have decided that there are three things I needed to do when spring arrived (which it did like three weeks ago...):
  • Pack my winter clothes away and roll out the spring/summer outfits onto the red carpet
  • Rearrange my room so it looks more presentable
  • Plant some herbs (basil, cilantro, and rosemary)
  • Vacuum - vacuum - and vacuum!

Today, I actually feel like I accomplished something. I could actually put checkmarks on two of the things on my spring to-do list! Spaghetti marinara with fresh basil is definitely going to be on the dinner menu soon. I am also fashionably ready for the new season.

I need to make a confession though... It took me almost two hours to do the switcharoo between unpacking my spring clothes and packing the bulky sweaters into the suitcase. It was also hardly serendipitist to find out that I accumulate. The suitcase begged for me to stop forcing the zipper to fasten, and cried when I refused to give up and sat my whole weight on top of her. I finally caved in and unzip to expand and give her some breathing room. It was sad...

Hopefully I will be as motivated tomorrow so I can add another checkmark on my list.
