Then the IT scored

Kick Grass touched the ground

But warriors we are
With a stroke of luck
Kick Grass started pushing back
Bottom of the 6th
John did the nastiest kick
Flew away, soared sky high
Our two runs triple fly
Four seconds later
SNAP! Our third run zipped by

Beautiful as it may
IT kept their chin high
AARGH! Their third run...
Painful to watch, painful to see

A tie! A tie!
Oh the intensity! Oh the pressure!
Oh the exersion!
This is too much! Waaaay too much!

But the ninth inning came
One out, third base loaded
The kick was beautiful,
not to far, not too strong
Kat came home, humming a song
